Located in the Tobira hot-spring area, Myojinkan features spacious indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and refreshing massages. The spacious Japanese-style rooms come with large windows and a carpeted seating area. A free shuttle is available at 15:15 and 16:30 from JR Matsumoto Train Station, which is a 30-minute drive away. WiFi is provided throughout the property. Myojinkan is a member of Relais & Chateaux. The air-conditioned rooms feature a spacious living room with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. Japanese Yukata robes are provided and guests sleep on tatami (woven-straw) floors in Japanese futon bedding. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and toothbrush sets. Myojinkan Ryokan is a 30-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle and a 40-minute drive from Utsukushigahara Open-Air Museum. Matsumoto Airport is a 1-hour drive away. Guests can read books and relax at the shared lounge or request facial treatments for an extra cost at the Aroma Room. Bicycle rentals are available for touring the area and local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop.
