Protea Guest House

Protea Guest House offers three self-catering wooden cottages, situated in a large sub-tropical garden with splendid views of the Knysna Lagoon. We only offer self-catering accommodation, so no breakfast or other meals are provided. There are stairs leading up to the cottages as it is situated in a large garden which is on a slope. Loerie cottage features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge and large private sundeck with panoramic views over the Knysna lagoon and the Heads. Loerie has DStv (satellite tv). Glasogie & Suikerbekkie cottages sleep two people each, with their own private sundecks with views over the Knysna lagoon and the Heads. Both cottages have Openview tv (satellite tv). All the cottages are self-contained with their own bathrooms, free parking and 150 mbps fibre internet. Protea Guesthouse is situated in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac, away from the busy main road. We are within walking distance from town and only 1.1 km from the Knysna Waterfront. There is abundant bird life and the garden is often visited by the Knysna Loerie (Turaco) and the local Vervet monkeys.
