The Cliffs Hotel – Blackpool has plenty of entertainment up its sleeve, whether you’re a couple or a family. You’ll find it towards North Shore on Blackpool’s promenade. It’s less than 10 minutes’ drive to North Pier and the Blackpool Tower, or you can walk it in half an hour.

The free Rocky Gardens kids’ club will keep little ones aged four to 14 busy. It’s got a timetable packed with arts and crafts, bowling, bingo, face painting and obstacle races. Plus, there’s a soft play area for those under four, as well as an arcade for teens with PlayStation and Xbox consoles, pool tables and a dartboard.

There’s a lively line-up of evening entertainment, too, with nightly comedy, bingo and live music, as well as themed nights. If relaxing’s more your thing, then there’s a heated indoor pool, or a gym to work up a sweat. The bar near the gym provides light bites and post-workout protein shakes. Meanwhile, the café serves up main meals, as well as lighter lunches and a kids’ menu. It’s got a great sea outlook, too.
