Bosque Guardian Lodge

Located among breath-taking views of the Peruvian Amazon, Bosque Guardian Lodge is only 40 minutes away from the city of Tarapoto’s airport, in San Martin Region. The lodge is next to the Cordillera Escalera conservation area and, for that reason, some of the Bosque Guardian Association’s main goals are to protect the environment through reforestation, educational activities, and wildlife monitoring. The Bosque Guardian Lodge boasts beautifully crafted bamboo rooms within the lush rainforest. Our private conservation area has several exciting trails that will allow you to discover the jungle. Moreover, you will live unique experiences: top Peruvian cuisine with exotic produce from our organic farm, and ecotourism activities. Swim in the Tiraco River and its wonderful pink rocks, enjoy a dive in the waterfall; follow the cacao and Melipona bee trails, visit the frog pond, explore wildlife and bird-watching, and get to see the new footage of our camera traps. You could also develop new skills at our paper workshop, where you could learn how to make ecofriendly objects with natural fibers.
