La Contessa Castle Hotel

Featuring a 650 m² wellness area, including an indoor pool, the neo-baroque La Contessa Castle Hotel is situated in a 7-acre botanical garden in Szilvásvárad, set by the feet of the Bükk mountains, about 25 km north of Eger. The rooms are located in 2 buildings, the main castle building and a smaller building in the park, 100 metres from the main building. Castle Hotel La Contessa offers gourmet Hungarian and international cuisine in the elegant Elizabeth Restaurant, located in the main building. There is also Cyrano Restaurant and Bar, which bears the atmosphere of an English Pub. A barbecue terrace provide further dining facilities. The wellness area in the main building with panorama windows offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The facilities include a Finnish sauna, a bio and an aroma sauna, a steam bath, a hot tub and a heated outdoor pool. A wide range of massages and beauty treatments are also available for a surcharge. A squash court as well as a bowling alley can be found on site. Parking is available on site for a fee.
