The Low Farm is a traditional 17th century, stone Long House in a stunning location in the breathtaking Duddon valley. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The four-bedroom Farm House has accommodation for up to 9 guests, in 4 bedrooms and has many original features, including flagstone and Oak floors, beamed ceilings, wood burning stove, open fire places, Aga, original doors & timber paneling. It sits on a generous plot with cottage gardens, great views and ample parking, just a short walk from the River Duddon. A two-bedroom cottage (Duddon View Barn) is also available in the adjacent barn. The scenery of the Duddon valley made it a favourite location of William Wordsworth and Alfred Wainwright, both of whom wrote extensively about this beautiful part of the Lake District. The Low Farm is situated 1 km from Ulpha and 6 km from Broughton-in-Furness, in an area of natural beauty. It has access to the central lakes and is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists, anglers and nature lovers. Dogs are welcome @ £20 each / stay. Please advise when booking if you wish to bring dogs.
