• See the ‘original’ Salisbury at the Old Sarum. History lovers will be in their element here. Although it is surrounded by beautiful countryside so you can also just come for the view.
• Check out modern-day Salisbury. Spot the UK’s tallest cathedral spire (it’s hard to miss), explore the famous Salisbury Museum or just eat your way around the city. Because, why not?
• Venture into the Wiltshire countryside. Grab your walking boots (or a bike) and head into the country – there are loads of beautiful walks nearby.
• Discover under-the-radar Avebury. That’s if you’re not stone-circled out. Avebury may not be as well-known as Stonehenge but it’s still seriously impressive.
