Pousada Luar do Sertão

Pousada Luar do Sertão is located at the entrance to the trail of one of the main attractions in Lençóis — Ribeirão do Meio — which is also the main access point to Chapada Diamantina National Park. The distance to the historic centre is 900 meters, and the access road, which used to be rough, is now paved almost all the way to the inn, with only about 200 meters of dirt road remaining. We consider our location a privilege, as our preserved native forest area is directly connected to the national park, home to birds and other wild animals that visit us daily during breakfast time. Our location is also essential to provide peace and tranquillity to our guests, since even during the lively and noisy festivities in Lençóis, silence for a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. We also offer free parking included in the daily rate. The charming chalets include a delightful balcony overlooking the garden, air conditioning, minibar, private bathroom and fibre optic internet. Breakfast is included in the rate, in a living space specially designed for our guest to have close contact with the nature of our environment. Our chalets are not equipped with a television, as we consider it important for our guests to “disconnect” from their routine and have as much interaction with nature as possible. But to serve those who want to watch television, our living space also has a television and reading room. We are also specialists in suggesting tours according to the guest's profile, preparing itineraries and recommending reliable tour guides. We invest in: generation of solar energy, reuse of rainwater, use of LED lamps, reflectors with motion sensors in the external area, recycling of solid waste, composting of organic waste, ecological pits, preservation of native forest, incentives for guests to save water and energy and the use of low-consumption electro-electronic equipment.
