Where to stay in Marrakech?

Inside the city walls, the Médina boasts historical treasures such as the Koutoubia Mosque or the Saadian Tombs. Djemâa el-Fna is a triangular open space bustling with activity day and night. Here you can enjoy snake charmers, herbalists, jugglers and musicians, as well as some traditional shopping in the souks. Around it, many riads have become boutique hotels and guest houses.

The Gueliz district is more modern, with plenty of cafés and restaurants to choose from, as well as many boutiques for the shopaholics.

L’Hivernage is a residential neighbourhood with a host of hotel chains close to the railway station around the Palais des Congrès or along Mohamed VI Avenue.

To the south of the city, you will find a new trendy area, between the Agdal Gardens and Mohamed VI Avenue, with numerous residential developments and high-quality hotels. The stylish youth gather here to visit the multiplex cinema or the largest discotheque in Africa.
