Vogafjós Farm Resort

Vogafjós Farm Resort is a family‑run property on the eastern shore of Lake Mývatn. The guesthouse is located in a quiet and unique natural environment, surrounded by lava rocks and birch trees. It is a perfect location for northern lights scouting. All our rooms offer a patio, a private bathroom, and free Wi‑Fi. A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served at Vogafjós Farm Restaurant, just a 3‑minute walk from the guesthouse. The farm‑to‑table restaurant is located in a cowshed. While enjoying your meal, you can watch our cows being milked or enjoy the amazing view of Lake Mývatn. We focus on traditional Icelandic and local cuisine, using our own products as much as possible (e.g., smoked lamb, smoked trout, homemade cheeses, Geysir bread, and meat from our own farm). Guests can relax in a hot tub located at the guesthouse or in the geothermal waters of the Earth Lagoon Mývatn, available nearby for an additional fee. The village centre of Reykjahlíð is located 2.4 km from the guesthouse.
